Winter Waivers 2018 Comes To An End

Yesterday at 3pm Winter Waivers passed peacefully in its sleep as no one put in a claim for Mark Melancon.  He was released to the Free Agent Pool and you are now charged with Draft Prep and potential trades. 

Shortly I will put up a post with the various time lines of activity regarding Roster Cuts, Cut Postings and Draft Day information.  In the meantime, enjoy watching the latest about Yu Darvish and Jake Arrieta.

Rebel/Revenge Trade

In a "Speed for Something" trade, the Revenge acquired Billy (the quick) Hamilton .21 19+ and 4th pick of Dem Rebels in exchange for Kyle Schwarber (.17 X) and Austin Meadows (.05 Mx).

Winter Waivers Round 5

In celebration of his birthday yesterday, the head of the Candy Colored Clowns picked up a birthday present.

Clowns claimed Carson Kelly .05 and waived Mark Melancon  .23.

Deadline to claim Melancon is Sunday, January 28 at 3pm Central.

First Trade of 2018

Not surprisingly the first trade of 2018 involved the Clowns.

The Candy Colored Clowns trade their 5th round pick and the Ruffins 9th round pick to Dem Rebels for Michael Wacha (.04 19+).
