Clowns - Line Trade

Continuing in their annual tradition, the Clowns and Line completed a trade prior to the draft.

The Clowns send Madison Bumgarner (.15 21+) to the Line for Luis Urias (.10 21+).

Line - Clown Trade

The Kenndoza Line trade Charlie Blackmon (.43 21+), Stephen Strasburg (.33 19), Orlando Arcia (.03 21+), Craig Kimbrel (.15 21+) and their 15th pick to the Clowns for Nick Senzel (.15 21+), Yasiel Puig (.23 21+), Derek Dietrich (.03 21+) and Jonathon India (.10 Mx).

Swing - Line Trade

Kenndoza Line trades Cole Tucker (.02 21+) to the Swing for Mike Soroka (.10 20x)

Clowns Trade With Line

The Candy Colored Clowns trade Stephen Strasburg (33, 19+) and a 7th round pick to Kenndoza Line for Seranthony Dominguez (8, 20+) and the Line’s 11th rounder.

Ruffins/Line Trade

Continue to make efforts to have a pennant race the Ruffins pulled off another deal.  In what may be a CFCL record, this deal was negotiated over a nine hour time difference.  While sipping an afternoon coffee at an outdoor cafe in Italy, the Kenndoza Line would awake at 6am in California to respond to the latest Ruffin proposal.  Here's what they agreed to.

The Ruffins trade Victor Robles (.10 Mx), Pedro Strop (.01 20+), Kolby Allard (.05 Mx), Scooter Gennett (.10 19+) and Anthony DiSclafani (.05 20+) to the Line for Clayton Kershaw (.51 20+), Jedd Gyorko (.01 18), Odubel Herrera (.16 20+), Bud Norris (.05 19+) and Preston Tucker (.05 20+).

Father's Day Trade

The Kenndoza Line trade DJ LeMahieu (.22 20+) and Trevor Williams (.05 20+) to the Sombreros for Jesse Winker (.06 19+) and Logan Forsythe (.04 20+).

Clowns and Line finally get into the Spring of things

Better late than never, the Clowns and Line completed their annual pre-season trade.

The Clown sent their 12th round pick to the Line in exchange for Michael Lorenzen (.03 W).

Busy Trade Day Continues

The Kenndoza Line see the top of the mountain and are making their charge, completing two trades less than two hours before the deadline.

The Line traded Tyler Flowers (.02 19+) to the Ruffins for Ender Inciarte (.15 17) and then.....


.....traded Andrew Chafin (.01 19+), Aaron Altherr (.01 19+) and the 6th round pick they acquired from the Clowns to the Swing for Jake Arrieta (.10 17!) and Hernan Perez (.06 18+)

Clowns - Line Deal

The Candy Colored Clowns continued to revamp their roster, swapping 12.5% of their team with the Line.

The Clowns send Yasiel Puig (.20 17!), Dan Straily (.02 19+), Tyler Flowers (.02 19+), Raisel Iglesias (.05 17) and Brett Cecil (.10 19+) to the Line in exchange for Rhy Hoskins (.05 Mx), Andrew Knapp (.01 19+), Ben Lively (.02 Mx), Allen Cordoba (.05 19+) and Yasmany Tomas (.06 17).

Line Clown Trade

The Kenndoza Line trade prospect Isan Diaz (.10 mx) and their 17th round pick to the Clowns for the under performing Brandon Belt (.35 18+)

Line - Clown Trade

The Candy Colored Clowns worked the trade lines to garner a minor league Red pitcher.  The Clowns trade their 6th round pick to the Line for Sal Romano (.05 Mx).

Another Red to the Clowns

In their never ending effort to acquire anything and everything from Cincinnati, the Clowns traded Clay Buchholz (.15 19+) to Kenndoza for Cody Reed (.05 19+).  The push for the pennant begins less than a week into the season.

Last Minute Deal and Roster Cut Reminder

As the final minutes tick away, final roster tinkering took place.  The Beatniks acquired David Freese (.05 18+) from the Kenndoza Line in exchange for the Beatniks 9th Round pick.

REMINDER:  Roster Cuts are due by 3pm CENTRAL time Sunday, March 27th.  Technically that's today.

I have received two teams' cuts thus far.  My schedule is full tomorrow and I won't have time to review, process and post the cuts until tomorrow night around 9pm or 10pm.  Please, please, please, do not make me chase you down for your cuts at 3:05pm.

Line/Beatnik before the deadline

With just days remaining before Roster Cuts are due, the Line and Beatniks made a deal.

Kenndoza sends Travis Jankowski (.15 18+) and Forrest Wall (.05 Mx) to the Bereted Ones for Derek Law (.05 18+) and their 4th Round pick.

Clown - Line Trade

In their perennial rite of spring time prepping us for the ever quickening pace to Draft Day, the Line and Clowns completed a deal.

The Clowns send minor league prospect Forrest Wall (.05 Mx) to the Line in exchange for Yasiel Puig (.20 17!)

Trade Deadline Day Begins

Kicking off the Trade Deadline Day early (trade reported before 7am), the Kenndoza Line make a move to shore up their bullpen by dealing Roman Quinn (.05 Mx) to the Sombreros for Pedro Baez (.04 18+).

Clowns - Line Trade (Redux)

The Line, with their sights on the top spot, made another deal with the Clowns to try and shore up their offense.

The Kenndoza Line trade Randal Grichuk (.10 17+), Alex Verdugo (.02 Mx) and Jacob Nottingham (.05 Mx) to the Clowns in exchange for Joey Votto (.39 17+) and Chris Owings (.13 16)

Fourth of July Fireworks

It won't exactly match the Burr-Hamilton showdown that's been getting a lot of press lately.  But in their own way, the Clowns and Line made an effort to light some fireworks under their respective teams.

The Clowns trade Adam Wainwright (.29 18+) to the Kenndoze Line in exchange for Michael Conforto (.02 17+)

Deadline Deal

With four days remaining until the Roster Freeze Deadline, the Beatniks and Line pulled off a deal.

The Beatniks traded the alliterative (Beatniks words) Freddie Freeman (.34 17+) and Shawn Kelley (.05 17+) to the Line in exchange for a trove of minor leaguers:  Billy McKinney (.02 Mx), Aaron Blair (.10 Mx) and Albert Almora (.05 Mx).

Rumor has it the Beatniks wouldn't complete the deal unless Cliff Lee was thrown in.  Once they were convinced the Killers have Lee, the Beatniks completed the deal quickly and then consulted their CFCL rolodex for the number to the Killers front office.

Kenndoza Line and Rebels Strike a Deal

The Kenndoza Line sent newly acquired Jace Peterson (.03 17+) packing with middle infield prospect stud Orlando Arcia (.05 Mx) to Dem Rebels in exchange for Clayton Kershaw (.51 17+).

Dem Rebels freed up some salary for draft day be getting rid of their best player and shored up both the middle of their infield and continued to replenish their decimated minor league system.
