Ruffins/Line Trade

Continue to make efforts to have a pennant race the Ruffins pulled off another deal.  In what may be a CFCL record, this deal was negotiated over a nine hour time difference.  While sipping an afternoon coffee at an outdoor cafe in Italy, the Kenndoza Line would awake at 6am in California to respond to the latest Ruffin proposal.  Here's what they agreed to.

The Ruffins trade Victor Robles (.10 Mx), Pedro Strop (.01 20+), Kolby Allard (.05 Mx), Scooter Gennett (.10 19+) and Anthony DiSclafani (.05 20+) to the Line for Clayton Kershaw (.51 20+), Jedd Gyorko (.01 18), Odubel Herrera (.16 20+), Bud Norris (.05 19+) and Preston Tucker (.05 20+).

Going For The Lock Down

Not waiting to see what the other contenders will do, the Ruffins continued to make moves to enhance their strangle hold on 1st place and their potential 6th CFCL title.

The Ruffins trade Stephen Piscotty (.05 17+), Robbie Ray (.10 18+), Eloy Jimenez (.02 Mx) and their 4th round pick for 2017 to the Revenge in exchange for Stephen Strasburg (.38 18+), Dee Gordon (.10 16!), Jayson Werth (.11 18+) and their 2nd and 9th round picks for 2017.

Purging of the Pirates

In a deal finalized this morning, Rebel management traded fan favorites Starling Martin (.20 16!) and Tony Watson (.15 17+) to the Ruffins in exchange for Joe Panik (.01 17+), Amir Garrett (.05 Mx), Corey Knebel (.03 18+) and the Ruffins first round pick in 2017.

With the trade the Ruffins make a strong statement that they are looking to lock up not only all the offensive categories, perhaps netting them a "Perfect 50" but also doing their level best to lock down title #6.

On the other side, the Rebels now have the dubious distinction of having traded every member of the Pirates stellar outfield.  They will wait patiently by their Inbox, looking for an e-mail from Clown management as to the availability of Amir Garrett.

Trade Flurry

Actually it's not so much a flurry of activity as opposed to a friggin' avalanche.

Five teams have coordinated to make four trades.  Without further ado:

Ruffins trade Jayson Werth (.16 15+), Hanley Ramirez (.21 15+), Jonathon Lucroy (.14 15+), David Wright (.27 14) and Wil Venable (.04 14) to the Revenge for Nolan Arenado (.02 15+), Marcel Ozuna (.02 15+), Charlie Blackmon (.10 16+), Corey Seager (.05 Mx) and their 9th pick.

I believe this is the first time ever that David Wright has played a NL game for anyone other than the Ruffins.

Candy Colored Clowns trade Travis D'Arnaud (.10 16+) to the Swing for Anthony Recker (.01 16+) and Eddie Butler (.05 Mx).

Candy Colored Clowns trade Jake DeGrom (.05 16+) and Yovanni Gallardo (.07 16+) to the Bulls for Todd Frazier (.10 14)

Revenge trade Hector Rondon (.07 15+) and Nick Wittgren (.02 Mx) to the Bulls for Justin Morneau (.15 16+)

That's it!  Deadline has passed.  Good luck to everyone trying to move up!

Ruffins/Kenndoza Line Trade

The Ruffins and Kenndoza Line lit the fuse on a trade for Independence Day.  In an effort for the most decorated CFCL team to charge after yet another title, the Ruffins said "Hey, don't forget about me.  This is how you do it."

The Ruffins trade
Julio Tehran (.02 15+)
Yasmani Grandal (.02 14+)
Xavier Paul (.07 15+)
Christian Yelich (.10 Mx)
David Dahl (.05 15+)
Their 4th round pick for 2014
Their 9th round pick for 2014

The Kenndoza Line, playing not so much for next year but more to appease their young son and pick up some cheap Father of the Year points trade
Mat Latos (.21 15+)
Jonathon Lucroy (.14 15+)
Yonder Alonso (.05 13)
Sergio Romo (.18 14+)
Blake Parker (.06 15+)

This whole deal started with the Kenndoza Line trying to acquire Line Jr's favorite player - Xavier Paul.
