One day, a point and a half, three teams.
Heading into the final day the Sombreros hold a half point lead over the Ruffins. To trigger the tie breaking rules, the DoorMatts would need to steal two bases OR the Ruffins would need a QS (without the DoorMatts getting one) OR the Rebels would need 3 Holds/Saves (without the Sombreros getting one). This may not seem as impossible as it sounds since the Rebels have Corey Knebel and THREE Arizona Diamondbacks active. So if Arizona had a lead in the 6th, and we know managers are not letting starters go much beyond the 5th inning, all it would take is for the D-Backs to run out DeLarosa, Hernandez and Bradley to secure the win and give the Ruffins half a point.
If only one of these scenarios plays out, we have a tie, so we go to the tie breaker - head to head categories. The Ruffins lead the Sombreros in 5 categories and the Sombreros lead the Ruffins in 5 categories. So we go to tie-breaker #2.
AB+BB+(3xIP) Team with the highest number wins.
Heading into Sunday:
Sombreros = 11,327.1
Ruffins = 11,202
Sombreros lead by 110.1 which has actually increased since the games started on Friday.
